Quan Ng

A bit about me:

• I'm an AI engineer and cofounder at Sync Stream, an AI automation agency in Australia. I lead the engineering and run a good part of the business.
• I build agents and workflows for clients. The early ones ran on n8n. The later ones run on Mastra.
• Before this I studied Information Technology at Macquarie University in Sydney.
• I like building things, not just digitally, and sharing what I learn.

What I spend my time thinking about:

• AI agents. How to build ones that don't fall over, and how to watch them once they run.
• Business. The same job is an afternoon in one company and a department in another. I like that puzzle.
• Frontier technology. I want to be early to what AI makes possible. It also unsettles me.
• Health and fitness. Without it nothing else works. More health is more energy to do whatever I want. Good sleep is non-negotiable.
• Outside work: bouldering, badminton, guitar, books, and poking at ESP32s.
